Daria Kovtunova

Violin

Daria Kovtunova was born in Russia and started playing the violin at the age of six. She studied at the Saratov State Conservatoire with Professors Michael Mindlin and Edward Gavrilenkov. While a student she was the recipient of numerous competitions in Russia and was selected to lead the Saratov Young Musicians Symphony Orchestra. Upon graduation Daria Kovtunova joined the Moscow State Symphony Orchestra. She has also performed with the West Kazakhstan Philharmonic Orchestra, the Symphony Orchestra of India and from 2010 to 2013 she was appointed tutti violinist with the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra in China. She has performed under the baton of many internationally renowned conductors including Adrian Leaper, Eugenie Bushkov, Johannes Wildner, Muhai Tang and Vladimir Spivakov. On tour she has performed in Germany, Thailand, Kazakhstan, China and the UK. She has been a member of City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong since 2014.

高杜娜生於俄羅斯,六歲開始學習小提琴,在薩拉托夫州立音樂學院隨明德林和格維倫戈夫兩位教授學藝。在學期間在俄羅斯多項比賽中獲獎,亦獲選為薩拉托夫青年樂團的團長。畢業後,她隨即加入莫斯科州立交響樂團,又曾與西哈薩克斯坦愛樂樂團及印度交響樂團一起奏樂,2010至2013年前往中國,擔任深圳交響樂團小提琴樂師。她曾在多位著名的指揮領導下演出,包括利珀、布殊科夫、懷德納、湯沐海等,亦曾到德國、泰國、哈薩克斯坦、中國及英國巡迴表演。高杜娜於2014年加入香港城市室樂團。
