Elizabeth Coupe began her vocal training as a young chorister in her local parish church in England and continued at Cambridge University where she read Law and was awarded a choral exhibition by Queens’ College. While working as a solicitor in London, she studied voice with Jessica Cash and Honor Sheppard and sang in several leading chamber choirs with a special interest in Early Music. Her legal career took her to Japan and Hong Kong where she has forged many musical friendships over the years. On the Hong Kong concert platform, Elizabeth has appeared as a soloist with the City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong, Die Konzertisten, the Hong Kong Bach Choir and Hong Kong Voices performing works by Monteverdi, Charpentier, Purcell, Vivaldi, Bach, Handel and Pergolesi. More recently in 2024, she sang French Baroque works with Concerto da Camera as part of the French May Arts Festival. Elizabeth Coupe also sings with Tallis Vocalis, Die Konzertisten and the Evensong Choir of St John’s Cathedral and volunteers as music director at St Stephen’s Chapel, Stanley.

吳莉嫺

女高音

吳莉嫺早年於英格蘭地方牧區教堂擔任童聲合唱團成員,開始接受聲樂訓練;後於劍橋大學主修法律,並獲得皇后學院頒發合唱獎學金。她在倫敦從事律師工作期間,師從傑西卡.卡西與賀娜.謝帕德學習聲樂,並在多個著名室樂合唱團擔任歌手,尤其熱衷於早期音樂。法律事業把她帶往日本與香港,期間在兩地建立了許多音樂上的友誼。 在香港的音樂舞台上,吳莉嫺曾為香港城市室樂團、Die Konzertisten、香港巴赫合唱團、香港和聲等擔任獨唱,演繹蒙台威爾第、夏龐蒂埃、浦賽爾、韋華第、巴赫、韓德爾、彼高利斯等作曲家的作品。較近期的演出,包括2024年與雅樂合奏團為法國五月藝術節獻唱法國巴洛克作品。吳莉嫺亦是塔利斯合唱團、Die Konzertisten、聖約翰座堂晚禱詩班等的成員,並義務擔任赤柱聖士提反堂的音樂總監。
