Ney Rosauro is a Brazilian composer, percussionist, conductor and educator. His unique style of composition utilizes the rich elements of Brazilian folklore and features charming melodies and catchy rhythms. In 2023 he was inducted into the Percussive Arts Society Hall of Fame. He has composed numerous works for orchestra, symphonic band and many solo percussion instruments. His catalogue also includes over 150 compositions and method books for percussion. His Marimba Concerto No.1 is the most popular concerto ever written for the instrument. Ney Rosauro has given solo recitals and performed as a soloist with orchestras in more than 45 countries. He has appeared as a guest conductor with numerous orchestras in Brazil, Ecuador and the USA. He has made 11 CD recordings to critical acclaim by critics, percussionists and general music-lovers alike.
