German conductor Robert Reimer is recognized for his versatility across opera, ballet and symphonic repertoire, appearing regularly at major European opera houses and concert venues. He is the Founder and Artistic Director of the Anton Bruckner Festival Berlin, launched at Berlin Cathedral in 2022. Since then, he has conducted Bruckner's major symphonies and large-scale sacred works in Berlin and internationally. In 2021 Robert Reimer made his debut at the Vienna State Opera conducting the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra in a ballet premiere featuring works by Dmitri Shostakovich and Igor Stravinsky. He has since returned regularly with productions including Onegin, Swan Lake, Don Quixote and The Sleeping Beauty. In 2026, he conducted a new production centred around Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater at the Vienna Volksoper. In Asia, he has collaborated with the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, Hong Kong Sinfonietta, Hong Kong Ballet and the City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong. In 2022 he conducted a French symphonic programme with the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra dedicated to César Franck’s 200th anniversary. Recent engagements include appearances at the Bavarian State Opera, Berlin State Opera, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Grand Théâtre de Genève, Gran Teatre del Liceu Barcelona and the Finnish National Opera and Ballet.
