Catherine Michel is an acknowledged authority in the harp world and the leading representative of the great French harp tradition. She receives invitations to give masterclasses all over the world and has given harp classes at the Hamburg, Detmold and Zurich Conservatories of Music, and as Prince Consort teacher at the Royal College of Music in London. Her pedagogical work includes the publication of a series of works, methods and exercises for harp written by leading harpists of the 18th and 19th centuries.
