ON
four arm juggler
ON is a juggling artist from Kanagawa in Japan. His work explores the possibilities of four-armed performances and combines juggling, physical theatre and object manipulation to create distinctive, visual performances. His early training in clown performance introduced him to juggling, pantomime and other forms of physical performance. Thereafter, he performed with various theatre and contemporary dance groups in Japan where he developed original object-based works rooted in juggling techniques. He currently works in a wide range of performance contexts, from street performances to circus productions, theatre stages, juggling events as well as collaborations with dancers and puppet theatre. His awards include winner of the 2026 Hibiya Live Performance Award, winner of the 2026 Kanagawa Performing Art Awards and finalist of the 2023 Japan Juggling Festival.
