Felix Klieser is a truly inspirational artist who focuses on the art of the possible. Born without arms, the horn virtuoso relies on his toes to master his instrument and perform beautiful classical music. He is featured in two cornerstone works of the solo horn repertoire by Mozart and Strauss. To round off the programme, Vahan Mardirossian conducts CCOHK in two rarely heard orchestral works: Butterworth’s Banks of Green Willow, a serenely beautiful English Idyll and Saint-Saëns expertly crafted Symphony No.2.

菲力斯·克立澤是一位名副其實能激勵人心的藝術家，化不可能爲可能。他天生缺少雙臂，但能成爲圓號演奏家。他只用腳趾去控制樂器，便能奏出動聽的古典音樂。此次演出，他將會演奏莫扎特和史特勞斯兩首圓號獨奏曲目經典之作。節目壓軸是由首席指揮瓦安．馬狄洛辛帶領香港城市室樂團演出兩首大家較少聽到的管弦樂作品：巴特沃思寧靜優美的英國牧歌《綠柳河畔》，和聖桑匠心獨運之作《第二號交響曲》。
